Acre is delighted to be mandated by a prominent global investment firm with a focus on impact investing and sustainable development in private markets to hire additional Legal Counsel capability for a fixed-term contract (FTC) of up to 9 months.

As an integral part of the global group-level legal team, this is an exciting opportunity to work across and support private equity funds, focusing on fund lifecycle management, regulation and governance at platform level, with an emphasis on providing support to Luxembourg-registered funds.
This is a broad role involving fund service providers, corporate legal matters, commercial agreements and projects. Examples of responsibilities include Board paper preparation, analysing side letters and post-close legal support.

Legal experience and competencies sought:

1-3 years PQE, although candidates with more experience will be considered, while exceptional trainee-level candidates may also be considered

The post-qualification experience and/or traineeship will have been gained in-house in a financial services environment supporting investment funds, asset management, private equity or broader financial services

Familiarity with the private equity ecosystem is advantageous

Any understanding of international legal structures across jurisdictions.
